Proven paddle knobs down the center not only provide decreased rolling resistance compared to the DHF but also offer increased braking when the trail gets loose. What is the difference between Drink Mix 160 / 320 and other carbohydrate powders? The key is the use of two dietary fibres of natural origin: alginate and pectin. Combined under precisely the right circumstances, the two dietary fibers form a pH-sensitive hydrogel which is able to encapsulate salts and carbohydrates. The contact with the gastric acid converts the drink into a gel and thus enables a flowing and rapid transport of the drink to the intestine, where the ingredients are quickly absorbed. With Drink Mix 160 or Drink Mix 360 athletes have the necessary power to finally develop their full potential - naturally and stomach-friendly.

The drink is free of added flavours, preservatives, colourings or acids. The powder contains no more and no less than what the body really needs. The mixture with water results in a sports drink with a high concentration of maltodextrin and fructose.

Applications of MAURTEN Drink Mix 160 / 320 - Beverage Powder:

Before the training/competition:

Maurten can be used as a carboloader before competitions. A simple possibility is to drink two Drink Mix 160 or one Drink Mix 320 the day before the race.

During workout/competition:

The amount of carbohydrates required depends on various factors. One of them is the duration of the exercise. When running or cycling for 60 minutes or less, the recommended intake is up to 40 gram carbohydrates at the beginning of physical exertion. For short workouts a Mix Drink 160 is therefor sufficient. For longer sessions of less than two hours, one Drink Mix 320 Pro is recommendable. For sessions exceeding two hours, one Drink Mix Pro 320 can be taken per hour.
After the training/competition:

After a workout, the body needs carbohydrates for effective recovery. A Dink Mix 160 or a Drink Mix Pro 320 can be taken within 30 minutes after the end of the session.

MAURTEN Gel 100 with Carbohydrates
The GEL 100 is a biopolymer matrix, filled with a unique blend of fructose and glucose (ratio of 0.8 : 1). The hydrogel makes the absorption of up to 100 grams of carbohydrates per hour tolerable, because it encapsulates carbohydrates and salts and allows a rapid transport of nutrients into the intestines, where they are finally absorbed. SOUPLESSE CARCASS-CONSTRUCTION

Turn-up construction - this is what makes the tire so supple and comfortable. Riding this tire feels just like the velvety motion of a classic tubular tire.

V-GUARD PUNCTURE PROTECTION BELT

The liner is made of a specifi cally developed high-tech polymer fi bre that is also used for bullet-proof and anti-stab vests. It provides excellent protection from cuts and punctures, and at the same time, it is extremely light-weight. Neither rolling resistance nor tire suppleness are compromised by the V-guard. A 14 mm wide belt protects the total tread area, and thus provides an extremely high level of puncture protection. In addition, a triple layer side wall reliably protects against cuts.

ADDIX RACE COMPOUND

Completely new formulation. Addix Race is a multi-compound made of the most innovative and highest quality proven polymers. Because silica fi ller contents were increased signifi cantly, the mixing process also had to be fi ne-tuned. Various specifi c blends are used for the centre and sides respectively. This increases the grip during cornering without compromising rolling resistance or durability.

The BBT29 is a double-ended bottom bracket wrench designed to fit 16-notch bearing cups with an outside diameter of 39mm (e.g. Shimano® Dura-Ace® 9000 series and XTR® 980 series) as well as 16-notch bearing cups with an outside diameter of 48.5mm (e.g. FSA® MegaEvo®).

Versatile and Durable BB Tool

Combining two heads in the one tool for optimum versatility and convenience, the smaller end of the BBT-9 fits neatly on the 8-splines of the crank arm adjustment cap for easy removal, allowing you to flip the tool and connect the optimised "hole" end to loosen the BB cup. Installing the new bottom bracket is just as simple. Suitable for cups and lockrings with outside diameters of around 44mm, and rotor disc lockrings with 16 external notches, the BBT-9 can be used on models including:
